Position: Associate Professor & undergraduate advisor Office: P-134 |
Research Interests:
My research area is computational soft matter physics. In particular, my group studies the rheology of associative polymeric networks. I collaborate with faculty in Biology and Mathematics in a research project on the structure of the inner mitochondrial membrane.
Current Students:
- Mark Wilson, Ph.D
- Austin Kruisheer, MS
I have room for an UG to work on associative polymeric networks during the 2013-14 academic year. (I prefer to work with a student who plans to graduate in 2015. A stipend for summer 2014 is available.) The interdisciplinary group on mitochondria has room for another student (MS or UG) as well.
