
Beginning in Fall 2026, the Department of Physics will offer a new Certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Modeling for Physics. The program will give students hands-on training in scientific programming, computational modeling, data analysis, and AI-based methods used in modern physics research and technology.
The certificate is designed for students interested in applying computational and AI tools to areas such as astrophysics, quantum science, materials research, medical physics, and data-driven scientific discovery.
