Dr. Kenneth Nollett, new faculty member in physics

The Department of Physics welcomes our newest faculty addition, Dr. Kenneth Nollett.  Dr. Nollett grew up in the Nebraska Sandhills, then studied physics at MIT and the University of Chicago. He has worked at Caltech and Argonne National Laboratory, among other places, and he came to SDSU from the University of South Carolina. He is a theorist, with research interests spanning the intersection of nuclear physics and astrophysics, including nucleosynthesis, nuclear scattering and reactions from first principles, and cosmology.
